Compared to last week feeder steers traded mixed with 500 to 550 lbs. 14.00 higher and 550 to 600 lbs.20.00 lower. Feeder heifers 500 to 550 lbs. were 11.00 lower today. Other weights off steers and heifers not well tested from last weeks offering for a comparison. There were several drafts of steers that had two or three rounds of shots that topped the market and are listed as value added. Buyers were more interested in the black hided calves than the colored calves today and paid more them. The market is being affected by the large dips in feeder prices on the last two Fridays and this in causing the buyers to be more hesitant in buying. Most feeders are coming in light to moderate flesh condition.
