Compared to last week feeder steers traded mixed with 650 to 700 lbs. 11.00 lower and 750 to 800 lbs. 13.00 higher. Other weights of steers and heifers did not have the numbers for a comparison this week. Today's sale consisted of several load lots of steers which buyers pushed the market to get these feeders. Many smaller bunches of steers and heifers in today;s offering. It appears that home lots are being cleaned out to make room for new calves being born. Buyer demand was good for today's offering but not as aggressive as in past weeks. There is a concern with very dry conditions of the pastures in almost the entire state. Most feeders were in light to moderate flesh condition.
