Todays receipts consisted of very few yearlings and mostly spring calves. Buyer demand seems to be picking up this week after a freeze that has eliminated much of the muddy conditions in the feed lots. Good demand for todays offering . Compared to last week feeder steers 450 to 500 lbs. were 14.00 higher, 500 to 550 lbs were 8.00 higher, 550 to 650 lbs. were steady to 2.00 higher, and 650 to 750 lbs were steady to 3.00 higher. Feeder heifers 500 to 600 lbs were l.00 to 4.00 higher and 600 to 700 lbs. were steady to 4.00 higher this week. The next feeder sale will be Saturday November 9 with 2700 expected.
