As filed

Today Public Auction Yards hosted the Montana Angus Female Bonanza XVIII. Demand was mostly good to very good. All cattle were tightly sorted before the scale for a multitude of factors. Quality was very attractive. Most offerings sold out of the state this sale as drought conditions and high feed costs continue to keep Montana ranchers from expanding their herds. A few 3 coming 4 year olds were AI bred but the majority were pasture bred. All bulls used to pasture breed were listed. Heifers sold on moderate to good demand. Heifers were about half AIed and half pasture bred. AIed heifers sold on the best demand. Most were set to calve in very tight windows. All cattle were in mostly light flesh today. Market activity was mostly active. With cattle being sold all over the country.
