Compared to two weeks ago: No sale was held last week due to heavy snow and closed roads. Feeder cattle offerings were very light this week as ranchers continue to dig out of last weeks snow storm. Limited offerings sold with lower undertones. Quality was mostly plain to average this week. Many buyers refused to start loads due to limited offerings, which limited demand. Demand for all feeders was light this week. Weigh up cows comprised most of the offering this week. Demand for slaughter cows was mostly good to very good as packers continue to see light receipts due to last weeks snow storm. Slaughter cows sold on very good demand selling steady to 1.00 higher on all classes. Feeding cow buyers continue to purchase thin cows to feed. Feeding cows sold mostly 1.00-2.00 higher. A big crowd of cow buyers was on hand for this weeks light offering. Weigh up conditions were average this week for both cows and bulls. Slaughter bulls sold mostly 1.00-3.00 lower. Young age cows suitable to feed or rebreed sold on mostly good to very good demand. A heavy offering of this class of cows was seen, as many cows lost calves in last weeks storm. These offerings sold mostly 2.00-4.00 higher, on an attractive offering.
