Quality this week was average to attractive. Offerings were coming off grass and in mostly light flesh. Weigh up conditions were mostly average. Buyer participation was better this sale as buyers were more active and aggressive as they bid on offerings. Market activity was active as a result. Weigh up cows sold on mostly light demand for light offerings. Packers opted to send all purchases to harvest this week as cow quality was mostly plain and lower than last week. Many cows had freshly weaned calves and were still carrying large bags. Additionally, cows were in mostly thin condition.
