Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers were all scarcely tested this week thus no trend is available. Heavy rain has fallen over the past week and receipts were very light as a result. Demand was light. Weigh up cows sold on mostly good demand for moderate offerings. A heavy offering of fed cows were seen this week. These cows sold on very good demand as packer and feeding buyers both showed very good demand for these high quality, reputation offerings. Premium white cows sold 2.00-3.00 higher than last week. Slaughter cows sold on good demand today as all packer buyers showed good demand for cows for immediate harvest. Cows were pushing fill this week as cold and rainy conditions have cows fuller than they have been over the last few weeks. Slaughter cows sold steady. Feeding cows sold on good demand as well. These offerings sold steady in a narrow comparison. Slaughter bulls sold generally steady. Bulls, like cows, were pushing excess fill this week. Young age 2-3 year olds sold generally steady on like quality and ages. Quality this week was not as attractive as last week.
