Packers, looking forward to holiday business and lightened sale schedules across much of the region were aggressive as they pushed to gather offerings for immediate harvest. Slaughter cows sold mostly 2.00-4.00 higher. Feeding buyers, after being mostly sidelined due to weather conditions over the past few weeks, were very aggressive in trying to procure offerings as well. Feeding cows sold mostly 2.00-5.00 higher as a result. Slaughter bulls sold generally steady on a lower quality offering this week. 2-3 year old cows suitable to re-breed sold on moderate demand for light to moderate offerings. These offerings sold lower this week on a lower quality offering.
