Compared to two weeks ago, steer and heifer calves under 650 lbs sold 15.00-25.00 higher with spots 30.00 higher, while heavier cattle sold with a firm to higher undertone with little comparison from the last sale. Demand was good to very good for a moderate supply. Cattle futures have come roaring back over the Thanksgiving holiday and that has continued into this week, giving buyers confidence to push prices near all time highs once again. Slaughter cows sold steady to 6.00 higher.
