Compared to the last reported sale two weeks ago, calves and yearlings sold mixed with steer calves selling 10.00-25.00 lower and the yearling steers too lightly tested on the last sale for a trend but selling with a weak to lower undertone. A nice offering of mostly yearling heifers was offered which sold steady to slightly higher on the 600-650 lb weight range. Demand was moderate to good. CME cattle futures have been on a roller coaster lately, but much more down than up which was the case again Wednesday with another limit down move. Slaughter cows sold uneven with the fleshier breaking cows selling steady but the lean and boning cows sold 5.00 lower than two weeks ago.
