Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to 5.00 lower. Demand was good for a light supply. Cattle futures plummeted Wednesday, with most contracts limit down following Trump's comments on his desire to lower beef prices. Slaughter cows sold steady to 3.00 higher.
