Compared to last week, a lighter run of steers and heifers sold mostly steady despite the steers not reaching some of the lofty top end prices seen on last week's higher market. A few larger consignments of weaned calves were on hand and heifers were better tested than steers, but the majority of the offering sold in smaller packages and many were short weaned, however demand remained good even with the high temperatures. Supply was moderate. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 4.00 higher.
