Compared to last week, steers under 700 lbs sold 3.00-8.00 higher and heavier weights sold steady. Heifer calves under 550 lbs sold 5.00-10.00 higher, heavier weights steady to 3.00 higher. Demand was good for a nice run of calves and yearlings and a full house of buyers made for an active market. Feeder cattle futures were in the green Tuesday and Wednesday which gave a boost to the market. Supply was moderate. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady.
