Compared to last week, steers and heifers traded unevenly steady from 5.00 higher to 5.00 lower with most of the advance on the 450-525 lb weight range. Supply was moderate to light but several attractive consignments were offered including some thin grazing cattle that found very good demand. Overall, demand was good and buyers were active despite the recent downward trend in futures market and the muddy conditions. Slaughter cows sold with a higher undertone.
