Compared to last week, steers sold steady to 3.00 higher and heifers traded mostly steady. Demand was good for several quality groups of yearlings and weaned calves, moderate to light for un-weaned or short weaned calves. Also, condition and weigh ups were more attractive this week. Supply was moderate to heavy. With a nice stretch of weather, farmers have been trying to finish up beans and there is still some hay being put up. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 lower.
