Compared to the last sale three weeks ago, steers and heifers sold mostly 10.00 to 20.00 higher with several instances adding on even more extreme gains. Slaughter cows 2.00 to 6.00 lower. A brutal day for cattle futures had very little effect on the local cash trade with buyers deciding that was something to worry about tomorrow and to just own what they could gather today. Supply light to moderate, demand good.
