As filed

Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steers and heifers sold steady to 5.00 higher with some yearling heifers 7.00 to 8.00 higher. Slaughter cows 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Trade was active right from the start, with some extra buyers in the seats pushing prices and forcing their counterparts to find a trading range they could all work in. Very few unweaned consignments in town, but the ones on hand did face some pretty steep discounts after the wide temperatures swings of the last few days. Supply moderate and demand moderate to good.
