Slim comparisons to the last sale two weeks ago but steers and heifers traded mostly 2.00 to 5.00 lower. Slaughter cows 1.00 to 3.00 lower. High heat and humidity have man and beast both feeling pretty tough in about the hottest stretch we've seen so far this summer in North MO, with pastures and crops changing fast. With the exception of several straight pot loads of yearlings, quality was below average but demand was still good. Supply moderate.
