Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, yearlings and weaned calves sold steady to firm, unweaned calves traded 4.00 to 8.00 lower. Slaughter cows 1.00 to 3.00 lower. Really attractive offering this week with lots of interest for the strings of weaned calves and load lots of yearlings. Unweaned calves didn't find many friends this week thanks to the usual seasonal health concerns and a less than desirable weather outlook for the next couple days. Several farmers in the seats, not because harvest is complete, but because the first snow of the season knocked them out of the field for the time being. Supply heavy, demand moderate to good.
