*CLOSE* Compared to two weeks ago, steer and heifer calves sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher, while yearling steers and heifers are 1.00 to 3.00 higher .Demand was moderate to good, best on yearling steers. There was a nice offering of steer and heifer calves weighing mostly 400-650 lbs with many unweaned and short weaned sold with moderate demand. Farmers in the trade area are working hard at harvest and will put a big dent in things this week as the weather is expected to be clear through the weekend.
