Compared to last week, feeders sold mostly 5.00 higher with some of the top end calves 10.00 higher. The supply of feeders was moderate. Overall quality was outstanding with much of the offering being long time weaned along with multiple rounds of shots, many of which were also carrying proof of a verifiable health program. Demand was good with lots of buying power present making for active bidding from start to finish. Following the awful performance of the futures markets last week, trading has been a bit more positive early this week which has helped the overall outlook somewhat. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 lower.
