Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Feeder steers and heifers sold with a higher undertone but with no good recent price comparisons. Slaughter cows steady. Demand good. The feeder market is regaining strength after last weeks sharp downturn albeit with light numbers moving around the circuit. Large feeder offerings are expected the next two weeks at South Central with several consignments of weaned/backgrounded calves on tap.
