No recent price comparisons available. Feeders may be returning to a more normal flow with a nice run of good quality cattle this week. Increasing demand seen as you move farther away from needing a kill slot with lots of interest in the light grazing flesh steers. The reduced slaughter capacity due to labor shortages at many processing plants is a huge story that may continue for a few weeks. By weeks end it looks like we will be behind by about 350,000 head for the past three week period. Meanwhile the lowered production has beef values screaming higher this week with the choice cutout setting a new all time high Wednesday
