As filed

Compared to the sale two weeks ago, feeder steers under 750 lbs steady with no comparisons available on weights over 750 lbs Feeder heifers under 550 lbs 2.00-3.00 lower, over 550 lbs steady to 3.00 higher. Few slaughter cows 2.00-3.00 lower. Demand moderate to good. Supply moderate. The market has gotten some help from a turnaround in live and feeder futures the past couple of days. It looks like we could have a chance to trade fed cattle at least steady this week after packers have spent the past month continually backing up bids and still finding enough cattle to fill kill schedules. The feeder market may also be benefitting from somewhat hungry buyers after the past few weeks of light receipts.
