Heifers in this sale have met minimum standards for reproductive soundness, pelvic size, frame size, muscle thickness, body condition, and weight. They have undergone a comprehensive health program, and are guaranteed bred with a percentage fetal sexed. All heifers are expected to calve from late January to late March. Heifers were graded and sorted into uniform lots according to projected calving dates and body type similarity. Supply consisted of 252 bred heifers from 16 producers selling in 86 lots with a sale average of $1909.00 per head, $210.00 less than the November 2020 sale. All 174 AI bred heifers averaged $1951.00 per head, $136.00 more than the 78 natural service heifers. The top selling lot was a registered Angus pair of heifers selling for $2,700.00 per head.
