Heifers in this sale have met minimum standards for reproductive soundness, pelvic size, frame size, muscle thickness, body condition, and weight. They have undergone a comprehensive health program, and are guaranteed bred. There are 22 A.I. bred heifers and some with known fetal sexed. Approximately 8 percent of the offering were Teir 2 Show Me Select heifers. This means that they have met requirements and are out high accuracy sires. All heifers are expected to calve from mid January to late April. The offering includes 6 Registered Angus. Heifers were graded and sorted into uniform lots according to projected calving dates and body type similarity. Demand higher compared to last December and the offering moderate with a very good attendance.

Supply consisted of 99 bred heifers from 11 producers, in 41 lots selling to 20 different buyers with a sale average of $2071.00 per head, $97.00 higher than last falls sale. There were 5 head of Tear 2-AI bred heifers, with an average sale price of $2440.00 per head; 3 head of Tear 2 natural bred, with an average sale price of $2400.00 per head; 17 head of Tear 1-AI heifers, with an average sale price of $2370.00 per head; 74 head of Tear 1 natural bred heifers, with an average sale price of $1964.00 per head. The average of all AI bred heifers was $2386.00 per head, $1981.00 average for natural bred heifers.
