Compared to last week, the best tested five and six weight steer and heifer calves sold 3.00-9.00 higher. Yearling steers and heifers sold steady to 4.00 higher. Demand was good on a moderate supply. Nine of the ten largest drafts were yearlings with the largest draft being 74 head of 842 lb. steers which brought 250.75/cwt. However the drafts to get the most attention were from the Video Auction with 165 head of 620 lb. steers bringing 325.50/cwt. and 110 head of their smaller brothers weighing 470 lbs. bringing 370.00/cwt.
