Compared to the last comparable sale of two weeks ago, feeder steers and heifers sold 2.00-4.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves sold 4.00-8.00 higher. Demand was very good on a moderate supply. Lower temperatures and humidity made moving cattle a little more bearable and resulted in higher than expected receipts. The quality of the offering was much better than last week's very light run and included a 224 head draft of 917 lb. steers that brought 235.50.
