Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were 10.00-15.00 higher. Steer and heifers calves were 6.00-12.00 higher with spots 20.00 higher. Demand was very good on a heavy supply. With fat cattle bringing 190.00, optimism has trickled down to the feeder cash market with some highs not seen for several years. A couple of stick out drafts were 90 head of 542 lb. heifers that brought 267.00 and 59 head of 841 lb. steers that sold for 224.75. Feeder Cattle and Live Cattle Futures traded higher as Corn Futures traded mixed.
