Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers traded 3.00-7.00 higher. Demand was very good on a heavy supply. The supply included a 4 pot-load draft of 901 lb. yearling steers which was $10 higher than what a similar group sold for two weeks ago, from the same farm. Steers averaged 631 lbs at 145.64/cwt while heifers averaged 568 lbs at $129.71/cwt.
