A large crowd was ringside at the special Replacement Cattle sale on Saturday, December 11 at the Ozarks Regional Stockyard. There was a heavy supply of bred cows which compared to the last replacement sale in August, traded $100/hd higher with the top animals selling for $1650. There was a moderate supply of pairs, which were lacking the quality seen in August, with the top pair selling for $1650. There were several breeding bulls in the offering with the top bull selling for $2800. Replacement cattle made up 87 percent of the offering while the remaining balance was made up of slaughter animals and calves.
