There were no recent special sales for comparison, however compared to Tuesday's weekly sale, steer calves traded 2.00-4.00 higher with heifer calves trading steady to 2.00 lower. Yearling steers traded steady to 2.00 higher with yearling heifers not well tested. Demand was good on a moderate supply. The supply consisted of several large consignments of vaccinated and weaned calves. Steers averaged 637 lbs at $143.18/cwt while heifers averaged 582 lbs at $127.68/cwt.
