Compared to last week, slaughter cows and bulls were steady. Demand was moderate on a light supply. The top slaughter bull sold for 251.00/cwt. and the top slaughter cow sold for 204.00/cwt. On the replacement side the top pair sold for 4500.00 and the top bred cows sold for 4200.00/head. Ozark Regional Stockyard is currently taking consignments for next Friday, August 14, Special Cow Sale which will begin at 5:00 P.M.
