As filed

Compared to last week, slaughter cows and bull sold steady to 2.00 higher. Demand was good on a moderate supply of slaughter animals and bred cows and a light supply of pairs. The top slaughter bull sold for 222.00/cwt. and the top slaughter cow sold for 172.00/cwt. The top pairs sold for 3875.00/pair and the top bred cows sold for 3100.00/head. One stick-out offering was 7 bred heifers which sold for 3200.00/head. Hay continues to be a problem as it has been difficult to get enough dry days in a row to harvest.
