The USDA's Cold Storage Report released last week reported frozen beef in storage was 2 percent higher than the previous month and 11 percent higher than a year ago. There is a surplus of beef on hoof but the problem is getting it from the farms to the consumer. Hopefully a solution to this logistical issue will be found in the near future.
