Compared to the last sale three weeks ago, steers sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher, few spots 8.00 to 10.00 higher. Heifers steady to 3.00 higher. Slaughter cows 3.00 to 6.00 higher. Good quality on offer for this first sale of 2023 with the local trade picking back up right where it left off before the holiday break and then adding a few dollars to most weights of cattle. Supply moderate to heavy, demand good.
