Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steers and heifers sold mostly steady to 4.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 lower. Good quality throughout most of the offering this week with several decent sized strings for buyers to build around. A few scattered weights and classes of cattle did manage to tack on a few dollars, mostly steers weighing from 450-500 lbs and 700-800 lbs. This is the last sale of 2022 at New Cambria Livestock. The next feeder cattle auction will be Thursday, January 5, 2023. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the USDA-MDA Market News Staff.
