Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to the last tested market four weeks ago, feeder cattle and slaughter cows traded with a sharply higher undertone. Back to business here at New Cambria LIvestock after a few rounds of winter weather affected the local area, causing a couple sales to be cancelled or delayed. This week's cash feeder market performed much better than many anticipated given soaring grain futures, Thursday's sharp losses in the cattle complex and a lot of uncertainty on the international front. Supply heavy, demand good.
