As filed

Compared to the last sale three weeks ago, steers under 600 lbs sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher, heavier steers and all weights of heifers steady to 5.00 higher. Slaughter cows unevenly steady. Really good quality from start to finish for this first sale of 2022 with several large strings and reputation consignments on offer. Buyers were eager to get back to business after the holiday break and didn't hesitate to push prices past the highs from late 2021. Supply moderate. Demand good to very good, particularly strong for 5 wt heifers and 450-600 lb steers.
