Compared to the last auction two weeks ago, a light test of 4 weight steer calves sold mostly steady, 500-550 lbs and 600-650 lb steers sold firm to 3.00 higher, 550-600 lbs traded unevenly steady and yearling steers over 700 lbs sold with a higher undertone on few comparisons. Feeder heifers weighing 400-600 lbs sold fully steady to firm with instances 2.00-3.00 higher on the 450-500 lb heifers, 600-700 lb heifers traded steady. New Cambria Livestock closed the year with an impressive and active market on steer and heifer calves along with yearling steers all selling with good demand on a moderate offering with a very good offering of top quality steer and heifer calves in the offering, Slaughter cows sold steady to spots 2.00 higher on the high dressing cows.
