Compared to last week, steers sold steady to 5.00 higher and heifers traded 5.00-10.00 higher with spots up to 15.00 higher on the 450-550 lb weight range. Demand was good to very good, bolstered some large groups of reputation cattle on offer. The trend for the week has been grains trading lower and feeder cattle higher, helping support the calf market. Supply was moderate to heavy as the cattle continue to come to town in big numbers for this time of year. Slaughter cows sold 3.00-8.00 higher except for the lean cows selling steady.
