Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold mostly steady except for the more attractive yearlings selling with a firm to higher undertone. Demand was good for yearlings and some fancy calves, moderate to light for the remainder. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady. Corn harvest is finally underway after a late start as the corn has been slow to dry so far this year.
