There hasn't been a good test of the market for several weeks, but steers and heifers sold with a sharply higher undertone. Supply was heavy as the weather finally allowed producers an opportunity to make it to town with their cattle. Several strings of reputation cattle were offered and the condition of the cattle was excellent. Demand was good to very good for calves with the grazing market near it's peak, moderate to good for yearlings. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady.
