Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold mostly 4.00 to 12.00 higher, despite light receipts and feeder cattle futures trending lower for the day. A few high quality consignments were in town and created very good demand. Slaughter cows were steady to 5.00 higher and slaughter bulls were mostly steady.
