Compared to the last special two weeks ago, steer and heifer calves weighing 400-500 lnbs sold with a very sharply higher undertone, with 500-750 lbs steers and 500-600 lb heifers selling mostly 15.00-25.00 higher, spots 30.00 higher, with three pot loads of 706 lb heifers off the same consignment as two weeks ago weighing near the same sold 10.00 higher, all other weights of steers and heifers sold with a higher undertone on limited comparisons. Demand was very good on a moderate to heavy supply with overall a top quality offering of calves and yearlings selling on a very active market. Several stick-out sales included the pot loads of heifers with 142 hd of 630 lb heifers at 395.00, 234 hd of 706 lb heifers at 360.10 and part load of 740 lb steers at 398.50.
