Compared to the last special two weeks ago, the best test was on three pot loads of 690-698 lb heifers off the same consignment and weighing near the same as two weeks ago selling 10.00 higher, all other groups and loads of feeders sold with a firm to higher undertone with limited comparisons. Demand was good with the bulk sales on 5 pot loads of heifers and one pot load of steers. Three pot loads of heifers (241 hd) averaging 694 lbs sold at 352.50, pot load (80 hd heifers) weighing 658 lbs at 372.50, 69 hd heifers weighing 636 lbs at 365.25 all sold on and active market. Slaughter cows were scarce.
