Compared to the last special two weeks ago, 400-500 lb steer calves sold 10.00-20.00 higher, 500-600 lbs traded with a firm undertone on a light test, with 600-660 lb steers selling 5.00-10.00 higher and 700-750 lb sold with a higher undertone. Feeder heifers weighing 400-500 lbs sold with a higher undertone on a limited test, with 500-600 lbs selling 6.00-12.00 higher, spots 15.00 higher and 600-700 lbs traded with sharply higher undertone. Slaughter cows sold steady with two weeks ago. Demand was very good on a moderate supply. There were several stick-out sales of low 7 weight yearling steers with good weighing conditions and two pot loads of top quality 672-675 lb heifers that sold on a very aggressive market.
