Compared to the last auction two weeks ago, steer calves under 600 lbs sold with a firm to higher undertone on a light test with two weeks ago, 6 weight steers sold fully steady to firm, with 700-800 lbs trading firm to 5.00 higher on comparable sales. Feeder heifers weighing 400-500 lbs were lightly tested, with 500-600 lbs selling steady to 3.00 higher, 600-650 lbs sold 3.00-5.00 higher and over 650 lbs sold with a higher undertone on limited comparisons. Slaughter cows sold steady to 5.00 higher. Demand was good to very good on a moderate supply with several stick out sales of groups, part loads of steers and pot loads of heifers selling on a very active market with overall good quality and weighing conditions weighing from 500-750 lbs.
