Compared to two week's ago , feeder steers weighing 450-500 lbs sold 3.00-8.00 lower, with 500-700 lb steers selling steady to firm and 700-800 lbs trading 3.00-5.00 lower. Feeder heifers weighing 450-550 lbs sold mostly steady, with 600-700 lb heifers selling 2.00-4.00 lower. Demand was moderate to good with supply moderate. A good quality offering of steer calves weighing 500-700 lb sold with good demand despite lower market conditions. Slaughter cows on a light test sold steady. The Dow fell again, near 900 points on Tuesday as investors are on edge with the impact of coronavirius on economic concerns. CME cattle futures once again had a bad sell-off with sharp triple-digit losses helping to pressure the market.
