Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to 8.00 higher, the same trend as last week. The recent Cattle On Feed report released Friday was bullish and fed cattle traded higher last week, boosting confidence in the bullishness of the market and pushing feeder cattle and calves to new highs again. Demand was good for a moderate supply that featured several loads of yearling heifers. Slaughter cows sold steady.
